Soma was established in 2014 by two brothers when they encountered a challenge in their Literacy initiative ‘my little travelling library’ where they provided children with books but then they could not read then as they did not have access to electricity, thus they started making simple solar bags that help children in the program access light to read at night. Locations
We have two manufacturing locations (in Dar es salaam and Mwanza) having production capacity of 3000 bags per month. The setup is well equipped with latest Juki industrial sewing Machines, and weaving machines fitted with high accuracyOur highly dedicated team give their best every day to maintain the quality of our goods. We use fine yarns and high quality fabrics with special lining to manufacture each of our long lasting bag.
